The Projects

  1. CEDRA master/slave manipulator
    It is a 5 DOF manipulator which is used for hazardous environment like radioactive cells. This mechanical tele-manipulator consists of two 90 centimeters hands fixed on the height of 170 cm with just about 200 parts, either machine-made or standard. It took more than 1 year in Sharif University of technology. Center of Excellence in design, robotic and Automation (CEDRA) under supervision of Dr. A. Meghdari (Distinguished professor, ASME fellow)

  2. Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) (8/2003 up to now)
    I worked as an expert member and supervisor of 3 teams in Development, design and fabrication of an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) system for PEUGEOT 206 in Engineering and Research Organization of NMI co., Tehran, Iran. It has been doing under supervision of Dr. Yas and Dr. Ghomashi.

  3. 6-floor building with around 1000 square meter basis and structure
    I launched this project simultaneously with my M.Sc. courses @ Sharif University in lately 2000 and accomplished with that in early of 2003. It cost me an arm and a leg! The expenditure reached to around 250 thousand $ and its value is about 1 million bucks. Please see the picture of its architecture plan.

  4. Development of SMC (Sheet molded composites) products used in car industries
    I was the head of a Mechanical engineering student's team of Sharif university to analyze the failures and re-design of some car parts for a manufacturing company (Nipco, Tehran, Iran) under supervision of Dr. F. Kaymaram (PhD. From MIT, USA).It took just over 6 months, 2002.



  5. Design and fabrication of molds and products using technology of Thermoforming.
    ARSH mfg. Co. It has been done as a team work project and entrepreneurship business during 1999 until 2002 consisted buying machinery, tooling, renting a place etc.



  6. Test & Calibration of Special Machine tools
    For more than 45 industrial machines under supervision of Dr. M. Rezaei, Associated professor of Polytechnic university of Tehran, in 1999 to 2000. Mehvarsazan-Iran-Khodro co., Tehran, Iran
